Needlepunch/Fibre bonded Carpet:
A single layered, short piled carpet manufactured using a series of barbed needles to punch and intertwine the fibres. It is available in 2 metre and 4 metre widths and is extremely economical.
The carpet is directly glued to the subfloor. It is fairly thin in appearance, but extremely durable and hard wearing. Available in a large choice of colours, this solution-dyed carpet is protected against UV rays making it a popular choice in schools, nurseries and office buildings. We offer the following brands: Burmatex, Heckmondwike and CFS Carpets.
A practical and affordable alternative to ceramic tiles or wooden flooring. Vinyl is a low maintenance option and is manufactured from impervious PVC, which is durable, hygienic and easy to clean making it perfect for heavy foot traffic areas. It’s also comfortable underfoot and gives a feeling of warmth.
The modern day vinyl regulates to British Standards and all product data is available on request. Comes in ahuge array of colours and designs, so you’re sure to find one that’s right for you.
Homogenous is a term used to describe a colour that passes through the product from top to bottom. This property gives the vinyl excellent durability maintaining the colour throughout its lifespan. This vinyl can also be heat welded and is ideal for use in areas where water is not deemed to be an issue.
We offer an extensive collection of shapes, designs and sizes giving you plenty of options. There are also feature strips and grout lines available in 3, 5 and 10mm widths so that borders, tramlines and grout lines can be created for a highly authentic look.
Because the tiles are made from PVC they are warm underfoot and extremely resilient. They feature amazingly realistic surface textures, making them a perfect alternative for those who wish to recreate a natural effect flooring. An extra benefit in the commercial market is the addition of LVT loose-lay tiles that most manufacturers are now producing. These tiles are thicker and heavier making them a very good method of laying a floor onto raised access panels, a floor construction we are seeing more and more.
Commercial safety vinyl flooring provides outstanding durability and sustainable slip resistance for areas where extra protection is required, making it an ideal choice for toilet areas, hospital wards, disabled wet rooms and laboratories. It is also available as a textured version for increased slip resistance in bare foot or soft shoe areas.
This type of durable vinyl can also be dressed up the wall using a cove former at the edges to create an entire area that is impervious to water and easily cleaned. The vinyl is 2 metres wide and comes in rolls of up to 20metres in length. Any joins are heat welded to provide a tough seal. Top brands available are Altro, Polyflor and Tarkett.
